Saxman Slim offers complete DJ and emcee services, including live sax for the ceremony, cocktail hour and dinner.

The usual itinerary is romantic sax music for the ceremony, upbeat sax music for the cocktail hour, emcee for bridal party introductions, cake-cuttting and toasts, smooth sax music for dinner, then DJ services with dance floor lighting. 

Fifteen years ago, I was inspired to insert a live music element to make weddings special, in addition to providing a mix of fun dance music. I hope that someday, this combination will be universally expected.

Guests are pleasantly surprised to hear live instrumental interpretations of familiar songs as background music for mingling.

A tip I can provide is to seat older guests far from the sound equipment so they can enjoy table conversation.

Half of your wedding is not the dance party.
