The Woods Inn

If a lakeside resort is what you are looking for,  The Woods Inn in Inlet is a place to consider. Built in 1894, on the shores of Fourth Lake, in the heart of Inlet, New York, the historic and beautifully restored Woods Inn is ready to help you create your perfect destination wedding.

The Woods Inn provides an intimate lakeside Adirondack atmosphere for a truly memorable wedding. With 21 rooms, 3 Adirondack guide tents, and a private cabin, this venue can accommodate up to 200 guests for the wedding. On the day of your event, we close the venue area off to the public - creating a private house party for your family and friends.

Some amenities include your own private bar, private use of the venue area's and lawn, bonfires ( there is a fee), private game room, decorative lighting in the pavilion venue, just to name a few.

At The Woods Inn, you will remember the warmth, hospitality, and restful visit you experienced at this historic landmark. And let's not forget the view and sunsets from the Inn are stunning – simply, breathtaking and like none you have ever seen! The Woods Inn is the perfect venue for your wedding.

The Woods Inn was a desire to see the last remaining five story wood frame inn continue. The Woods Inn (formerly known as Woods Hotel), in the best possible location at the Eastern end of Fourth lake in the Fulton chain of lakes in the town of Inlet. The dock, beach, gentle shoreline and sumptuous sunsets make it the best venue in the Adirondack park.

For all of you who are planning a wedding, a destination weddings always end up with 20% or more fewer people showing up than what you invite.

The best moment I had at The Woods Inn was watching a father bring his daughter the bride to be (paddling) over to the inn's dock in an antique guide boat and the groomsmen lift her up onto the dock.
